It's hard to argue who the king of the road courses is in the International Sim Drivers Club right now. Stephen Laarkamp has lead every lap in our two road rounds. Laarkamp cruised to victory after an early race incident involving the next four cars extended his lead to over twenty seconds, and he never looked back. Joe Burchett finished second, narrowly holding off Chris Gutierrez. Alex Boffoli and Markus Gjesdal rounded out the top 5. Laarkamp jumped Gutierrez in points, and enters Gateway with a 7 point lead. Stephen Taylor holds third but falls back to 56 points behind Laarkamp. Attrition proved to be the key to the race. Nine cars finished, with only three finishing within one lap of Stephen Laarkamp. Honda extends it's points lead in the Manufacturers standings to 34 points, while Ford Performance Racing holds a 124 point over new second place runner Black Hole Motorsports. Next week the series heads to the mile and a quarter Gateway International Raceway for 125 laps.

Through much of the race it looked like we would have a repeat winner, but at the end it was not the man that we had expected. Chris Gutierrez held steady through the late race carnage to grab victory over Ford Performance Racing teammate Stephen Taylor. Stephen Laarkamp salvaged points in third tonight, while Markus Gjesdal brought home his best career result of fourth. Joe Burchett rounded out the top 5. Tire wear played a major factor later in the race. Taylor and Gjesdal both got caught out in the middle of the show. With his victory Chris Gutierrez jumps to the points lead by fifteen over Stephen Laarkamp. Stephen Taylor jumps to third, while Rick Music falls back to fourth. Music had a tough go of it, getting caught up in an accident with Connor Harrington. The race was slowed by six cautions for twenty four laps. Five drivers lead, with nineteen lead changes. Jonathan Goke lead the most laps at 46, followed by Connor Harrington and Chris Gutierrez with 20 and 11 respectively. In the Teams Championship Ford Performance Racing stretched out a huge lead, now sitting 145 points ahead of BMWC, and 150 points ahead of Black Hole Motorsports. In the Manufacturers Standings Honda extends their points lead to 19 over Ford, and 44 over Chevrolet. The tour heads to Watkins Glen next week for the TrueCar Watkins Glen Indy. Alex Boffoli took victory in a hard fought sprint through southern New Hampshire. Boffoli spent the last twenty laps keeping a hard charging Danny Roberts at bay, despite two late race cautions. Danny Roberts had his third consecutive strong run, taking pole, leading the most laps and finishing a close second. Dwayne Culberson rebounded from a rough debut at Indianapolis to pass Kenyon Payne at the close of the show. Payne suffered from lack of grip in the closing stages but held on to fourth. Rick Music played a conservative piece, as he rounded out the top five, but gained traction in his fight for the title. Two Cautions slowed the show for a total of eight laps. Danny Roberts lead a race high 42 laps, Alex Boffoli and Jake Nichols tied on 23 lead, and Kenyon Payne lead two. The series heads to a high speed but slippery Chicagoland Speedway next week for the Harrah's Indy 200. As always, stay tuned here and stay tuned to CenterForce TV for all your action ISDC.
