Roller Coasters? Check! Holy Rolling? Sure, Southern California? You betcha. The ISDC Formula World Series went even a little further west this week, to the Streets of Long Beach, where two newcomers stole the show. After Stephen Laarkamp encountered trouble, newcomer Brad Walters took victory by just over two seconds ahead of Dylan Lee. Rory Collins took third. Walters lead a race high fifteen laps and set a fast lap of a 1:09.349. Walters became only the second driver to win a road course event in ISDC history. The race was slowed by one caution on Lap 8, following a spin out of the final hairpin. Next week begins the festivities at Indianapolis, with the unique to Indy Qualifying format.
