Las Vegas, NV- The battle for the victory was quite intense in the late stages as Tim Silliman, Cody Wenzen, Stephen Laarkamp and Nate Bowers all battled tooth and nail to taste sweet victory, but in the end it was Tim Silliman that picked up the victory. A late race spin meant that the race ran it's final two laps under yellow. Stephen Laarkamp finished second, Johne Martin third, Brian Sullivan fourth and Cody Wenzen fifth. Wenzen emerges from Las Vegas leading the points, only four ahead of four different drivers, Brownlee, Silliman, Bomersbach and Hill. GAP Sim Racing Team has pulled together the funds and it looks like Wenzen will be able to defend his title after all, and so far his campaign to do so is looking strong. Tim Silliman took the pole while Cody Wenzen lead the most laps and Dylan Lee set down the fastest lap of the race. Next week the Grand National Series stays out west and heads up the coast to Wine Country, Northern California's Sonoma Raceway.
