Alex Boffoli collected his fourth victory on the season in a long, attrition filled race under the Texas sun. Boffoli broke the tie for first on the win list with the victory tonight. Phil Clark came home a career high second, and Ryan Kish finished third. The race ended under yellow after a Lap 164 spin. Rory Collins brought home the privateer #76 home in fourth and Johne Martin finished 5th. Stephen Taylor lead 93 laps on the night before contact sent him into the wall and out of the show. Stephen Laarkamp had already clinched the title and was unaffected when he was involved in a Lap 28 incident. Chris Gutierrez held second on the season, while Danny Roberts was third. Stephen Taylor and Caeton Bomersbach swapped spots, with Taylor jumping to fourth. The Formula World Series enters it's offseason. The tour comes back in anger October 31st with the Honda Grand Prix of Sebring and the new Road Course format. Preseason testing is expected to kick off in the next few weeks, and the seasonal Town Hall is expected in mid-October. Be sure to stay tuned right here for all your news and information.
