Long Beach, CA- A Track that has always had it's way of tearing up cars, The Streets of Long Beach proved to be quite a challenge for the drivers of the Formula World Series. Newcomer from Denmark, Nicklas Rasmussen, took charge through much of the race and fought through after a mid race caution. Rasmussen lead thirty one laps on way to a time shortened victory. Stephen Laarkamp finished second, Eric Micke finished third, Cody Wenzen fourth and Danny Roberts fifth after a post race review. One caution slowed the race for a spun car blocking the track, and three drivers lead with four lead changes. Next week the tour is off from racing, but instead will be Qualifying from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Four Lap Averages will determine the field starting with pole position, and ending with the honorees of the Last Row Party.
